BOSTON — Automatic Laundry, which services and manages community and student laundry facilities in the Northeast, reports it has promoted Scott Scarpato Jr. to chief operating officer.
In his new role, Scarpato is tasked with providing leadership and team management to all operating aspects of the company, including sales, service and customer service. For the last six years, he has worked in numerous roles for Automatic Laundry, including field service, logistics and finance.
Since joining full-time in 2016, Scarpato has improved the overall efficiency of the logistics operation, helped to double capacity of distribution capabilities and professionalized the lease administrative function between the sales and finance organizations, Automatic Laundry says.
Prior to Automatic Laundry, Scarpato worked at Oracle and Localytics. He has a bachelor of science degree from Bentley University.
