CHICAGO — In its continuing effort to inform and assist the self-service laundry industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, American Coin-Op has created a free, easy-to-use clearinghouse for job listings and positions wanted.
The Jobs Board can be found by clicking the do-it-yourself section’s dedicated tab on the AmericanCoinOp.com homepage.
Interested parties can easily create their own online listings at no cost to advertise open positions at their business (“Jobs Available”), or to announce their personal availability and interest in certain positions (“Jobs Wanted”).
“We recognize that the pandemic continues to impact the job market in our industry and we thought offering this free online resource would serve to help both employers and individuals,” says Charlie Thompson, president and publisher of American Trade Magazines, the parent company of American Coin-Op.
Click “Add New Listing,” then either “Add Job Available” or “Add Job Wanted” to get started posting an ad.
Once approved, posts will remain online for 30 days with an option to renew. One can search the Jobs Board for listings based on location and skill level.
“Whether you’re looking to fill a vacant position in your Laundromat or for a new job opportunity yourself, we hope you’ll take advantage of our Jobs Board,” Thompson says. “And please forward word of this to your friends and colleagues looking to rejoin the workforce.”
