RIPON, Wis. — Alliance Laundry Systems (ALS) LLC has appointed Michael D. Schoeb as the company’s president and chief operating officer. Schoeb will lead a seasoned executive team and report to CEO Thomas F. L’Esperance.Schoeb joins ALS with 20 years of operations, marketing and executive leadership experience in both domestic and international operations.Most recently, Schoeb led Wausau Homes Inc., a Wisconsin-based custom home builder, as president and chief operating officer. Prior to Wausau Homes Inc., he spent six years with Hilti Inc., a construction and building maintenance supplier. There, he held positions of increasing responsibility at the company’s Oklahoma, Washington, D.C., and Brazil locations.Schoeb also held the positions of general manager, sales and marketing manager, and product specialist with Johnson Controls. With that firm, he successfully identified and expanded markets within the United States, Chile, Mexico and the Caribbean for both commercial and industrial accounts.“Mike has the experience, drive, global perspective and personality that ALS needs,” says L’Esperance. “These are the key qualities required to further our development as a worldwide leader in the commercial laundry industry.”ALS manufactures Speed Queen, Huebsch, IPSO and Cissell commercial laundry equipment.
