FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Commercial laundry equipment distributor Aaxon Laundry Systems has promoted Tim Battaglia to accounting systems manager and added Brittany D’Annunzio to its staff as marketing coordinator.
Battaglia graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Prior to his work with Aaxon, he worked for Cargo Transportation Services. During his time there, he worked on improving the efficiency of the company’s systems, creating detailed reports and working on the efficiency of communication between departments.
“Tim’s experience in accounting and information systems is a perfect fit for this new position,” says Gary Prindible, controller at Aaxon. “He will evaluate the workflows within each department and the interaction between departments to create efficiencies, eliminate redundant functions and improve interdepartmental communications.”
“I am excited to use my prior experiences in systems automation to make Aaxon more efficient and nimble,” says Battaglia.
D’Annunzio graduated from Florida State University in 2013 and has since worked for a marketing firm. During that time, she was an account manager assisting in website design and copy, as well as social media strategies. At Aaxon, she will develop marketing campaigns and manage the Aaxon website and social media accounts.
