WASH Laundry Receives ‘Visionary Award’ at Microsoft Conference

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems was selected as a Visionary Award winner in the Business Insights category at Microsoft Corporation’s Convergence 2015 Conference in March, the company reports.

The multi-family laundry service provider says it was recognized for its “innovative application” of Microsoft technology to maximize productivity and customer service, as it expands globally into new markets. The honor was presented during an awards luncheon at the Atlanta conference.

Positive Atlanta Return to Bring Clean Back There in 2021

ATLANTA — Clean 2015 unofficially drew more than 11,000 attendees, including a first-day tally that exceeded the full three-day total for 2013’s New Orleans exhibition, John Riddle, president of show manager Riddle & Associates, told exhibitors Sunday.

The World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning closed Sunday afternoon after four full days of exhibits and educational programming, the first Clean Show in Atlanta since 1987. Thanks to the show’s performance at the Georgia World Congress Center, the wait until the next Atlanta stop will be much shorter.

NIE Insurance Program Expands to 48 States

ST. LOUIS — John L. Corley Inc. is expanding its NIE Insurance program to serve coin laundries and dry cleaners in 14 additional states, bringing the total number of states served to 48, the company says.

Corley can now offer this insurance coverage through a new appointment with The Hartford, which reports that it insures more than 1 million small businesses.

“This is good news for dry cleaners and coin laundries across the country,” says Greg Mouldon, Corley’s president. “We are proud to work with The Hartford. They are a leader in small-business insurance.”
